Offenses come in all shape and types: Being lied upon, gossiped about, unduly criticized even when you're trying your best, ridiculed, treated like a door mat, being dumped like yesterday's garbage, overlooked for a promotion, disgraced in public, etc,

Offenses that will come our way, first target our emotions to stir up anger, hate, bitterness, resentment, malice, unforgiveness - ALL TRAPS OF THE ENEMY designed to get us out of proper alignment with God and man

Jesus called the Syrophenician woman who came to Him for deliverance for her daughter a DOG!!! If she was taken up with the offense she would have started cursing Jesus out BUT she was on a mission and wasn't going to be sidetracked. Not only was her mission accomplished but she is forever cataloged in history as having "GREAT FAITH" [Matt 15: 22-28]

Now the question is are you spiritually maturity and wise enough to step past the offense so that you can receive the blessing on the other side of the offense? Can you step past the flesh being "hurt" and still show the love of Jesus? can you refuse to malice or become bitter even after being gossiped on?

Luke 7:23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Its hard when offence comes especially when you are guilty but you know  what  Jesus had been offended for me he did not do anything to  deserve offence but he bore it all for me, so as a true child of God I will just wait on him for deliverance
