The Lord's Supper & Foot Washing Celebration

Posted by revivaltime on March 24, 2010 at 9:17 AM

Dearly Beloved:

I greet you with profound Jesus joy. There is an air of heighten excitement and anticipation as the remembrance and celebration our Lord’s sacrifice on Calvary approaches. Like little children eagerly awaiting a birthday gift so we must be also; Prepared and eagerly awaiting not only Jesus return but also to remember and celebrate His sacrifice that opened the door for mankind’s redemption.

There is other date on the Christian calendar that is more important than the celebration of Lord Jesus Christ in His Death, Burial and Resurrection this Sunday, March 28, 2010. For us this is an ANNUAL [once per year] observance and I want you my friend to be a part of what promises to be an awesome time in the presence of the Lord.

In yesteryears we have seen and experience healings, deliverance, breakthroughs, signs and wonders of the miraculous. THIS IS NO ORDINARY SERVICE!

I implore you don’t let this wonderful time of showing honour and reverence pass you by. Make every effort to be with us in the sanctuary [locate us] or streaming live over the internet.

Jesus loves you and so do I

The things signified by these outward signs [the BREAD & CUP]; they are Christ's body and blood, his body broken, his blood shed, together with all the benefits which flow from his death and sacrifice: it is the New Testament in his blood. His blood is the seal and sanction of all the privileges of the new covenant; and worthy receivers take it as such, at this holy ordinance. They have the New Testament, and their own title to all the blessings of the new covenant, confirmed to them by his blood.

Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine*, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

* - Not fermented wine but grape juice
